Join the Private Practice SIG by clicking here. Membership dues are $75 for the entire year (ONLY $25 FOR STUDENTS!) With your membership you receive:

  • A listing of your private practice on the PPSIG website where other APTA members as well as the public can locate you and your website.
  • Participation in quarterly meetings with other PPSIG members;
  • The opportunity to network with other private practitioners in the state;
  • Representation on our Colorado Board of Directors so that the voice of private practitioners will be represented;
  • A reimbursement liaison from our state to national APTA addressing and notifying each other of issues affecting reimbursement;
  • Attendance to seminars pertinent to private practitioners to assist in the management and development of their practices;
  • Representation on legislative issues at a state level, andA liaison to the national PPS to enhance our connection to those on a national level.

It’s our vision to develop and maintain an organization that supports the success of individual physical therapists in private practice, and the profession of physical therapy as a whole. We hope that you will continue your membership with the APTA Colorado Private Practice SIG.

Parade of Lights PT Party Is This Saturday: Don't Miss Out!

Bring your family, colleagues and coworkers to PT Party Night on Saturday, December 2 at The Denver Press Club. We will have holiday sweets and treats, cash bars, wine bottle ring toss, activities for the kids, holiday movies and a premier viewing spot for Denver's iconic Parade of Lights!

When: Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Cost: $12 per adult and $6 for children 12 and under.

Description: This event is a self-guided educational opportunity open to all health professionals including OT, ATC, and graduate students. Current students and faculty will be available to answer questions about the bodies. Anatomical structures of interest will be tagged to help guide your learning. IMPORTANT: High school students, family members, etc. are not permitted. A liability waiver is required to participate in this event.
