2019 Mid-Session Report

Posted: March 14, 2019

On Monday, March 4th marked the official half way point for the 2019 Legislative Session.

So far, a staggering 438 bills, memorials and resolutions have been introduced. A majority of those bills are still somewhere along in the legislative process. Only 28 bills have been signed by Governor Polis into law and only 63 bills have been postponed indefinitely.

With Democrats in control of both chambers and the Governorship, we are seeing a lot of legislation that failed in the Republican Senate finding more success. Democrats have had major wins for some of their top priorities.
