Course Description:This presentation will cover the diagnosis, causes and comorbidities associated with failure to thrive, otherwise known as weight faltering. A focus of the presentation will include the role of the pediatric physical therapist in evaluating and treating developmental delays resulting from/associated with failure to thrive. Please join the Clinical Education Special Interest Group (CE SIG) this year for an engaging three-part series on creating a successful clinical education experience. The first session will focus on structuring the clinical experience; in the second session, participants will learn how to use questions to facilitate reflection and clinical reasoning; and we will finish the series with a panel discussion on using the CPI for assessing performance.
