Description: In Total Body Balancing 1 (TBB1), you will b e taught a 5-phase treatment template that can be done in as little as 20 m inutes balancing the patient's body in supine, prone, side lying (left/righ t) and finishing off in the sitting position. It has been the personal expe rience of course developer Dr. Kerry D'Ambrogio, (http://iahp.com/tsitherap y/) that there is a tendency to treat the patient's symptoms at the site of pain instead of searching for the root cause of their complaint. The major ity of feedback he receives from healthcare practitioners is that they unde rstand how to perform the individual techniques taught in manual therapy co urses but they have a difficult time knowing which techniques to use and ho w to integrate them during a treatment session. This seminar has been desig ned to answer these questions. Course Objectives: - Gain an understanding o f the history, principles, and neuromuscular basis of classical osteopathy and Total Body Balancing. - Understand the causes of the Total Body Lesion and the nature of a vital mechanism. - Conduct a thorough full-body orthope dic evaluation for the spine (cervical, thoracic and lumbar), rib cage, pel vis, sacrum (lumbo-sacral, and sacro-iliac joints), upper and lower extremi ties. - Chart your results and formulate a treatment plan. - Decide on the proper sequence of treating the Total Body Lesion - Perform a 5 phase full- body Total Body Balancing routine in supine, prone, side lying (left/right) , and sitting. - Understand the clinical importance of Total Body Balancing and the treatment of joint and muscular skeletal dysfunctions. - Integrate Total Body Balancing with other treatment modalities such as Lymphatic Bal ancing, CranioSacral Therapy, and Visceral Manipulation.
