COVID-19: Science & Practice

Join the APTA Colorado CAReSIG for this virtual Zoom course. This course will be a presentation on the history, epidemiology, pathophysiology, and best practice for physical therapy assessment and management of long COVID-19.

This is a free event and open to all members and non-members.

This event is worth 2 credit hours. 

Speaker:

Renee King PT, DPT, NCS is a board certified neurologic physical therapy specialist. She received her doctorate in physical therapy in 2010 from the University of Colorado Denver and has been practicing as a neurologic specialist in a hospital based outpatient clinic since 2015. She specializes in assessing and treating individuals with the following diagnoses: stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, ataxia and vestibular conditions. For the past year and a half, she has been providing physical therapy care for individuals with long COVID symptoms and staffing a post COVID multi-disciplinary care clinic since March 2022.
