PSIG Event: COVID-19 Child Health Advocacy Forum

COVID-19 will leave a lasting impression on many aspects of our lives, including our state’s budget. Join us for a Child Health Advocacy Forum to discuss proposed budgetary changes to early childhood systems – what these changes could potentially mean for you and your communities and what steps we can take to support children and families.

Speaker: Dawn Magnusson, PT, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Magnusson’s research employs community-based participatory research methods within a population health framework to inform the development of innovative, community-based solutions that advance health equity for traditionally underserved children. She currently serves on the Developmental Screening and Referral Policy Council for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and as the Colorado Pediatric Advocacy Liaison to APPT.

CEUs: This event will offer .5 CEU points of Category III education to attendees.
