Description/Purpose: The purpose of this webinar is 1) to highlight the importance of physical function as a target to reduce risk of hospitalization and 2) describe treatment strategies using high intensity resistance training to optimize care in less time for medically complex older adults. These treatment strategies are timely because of upcoming CMS changes to reimbursement in skilled nursing facilities and home health settings.
