Speaker: Thom Dunn, PhD

Thom Dunn is professor of psychological science with a clinical commitment to Denver Health’s behavioral health consult liaison team. His clinical interests are the psychological evaluation and treatment of patients who are receiving acute care. Dr. Dunn’s research interests include eating disorders that result in malnutrition without body image disturbance. He sits on both the Denver Health bioethics committee, as well as the Colorado Psychological Association’s ethics committee. Finally, Thom has 30 years of experience in the emergency services and still finds time to be a field provider for Denver Health’s paramedic division as a paramedic field instructor.

Description: The lecture will cover topics from patients who have personality disorders to functional neurologic disorder/conversion disorder and how to manage your reactions and the situation to provide best patient care.
