2019 APTA Colorado Awards

At the APTA Colorado annual conference this past weekend in Denver, the 2019 award recipients were recognized. Congratulations to all of the award recipients!

Outstanding PT and PTA of the Year

The Outstanding PT and PTA of the year is a chapter member that demonstrates Excellence in an area of practice (clinical, administration, research, and education) and has made significant contributions to the profession, the community, and the chapter.

2019 Recipients:

  • Heather Campbell, PT, DPT, MA (PT of the Year)
  • Jennifer Bonsant, PTA (PTA of the Year)

Bob Doctor Service Awards

The Bob Doctor Award is given to APTA/Colorado Chapter member who gives exceptional service to the chapter by bringing recognition and credit to entire profession.

2019 Recipients:

  • Kenda Fuller, PT
  • Sharon Jordan, PT, MA
  • Lisa Dannemiller, PT, DSc
  • Anne Kiel, PT, DPT

Outstanding Clinical Instructor Award

Recognizes clinical faculty who provide consistent, quality mentorship from multiple PT and PTA programs in the state that demonstrate achievements in promoting exceptional clinical educations experiences and professional involvement in clinical education.

2019 Recipient:

  • Christi Galindo, PT

 APTA CO Chapter Pauline Cerasoli “ACE” DPT Student Award and “ACE” PTA Award. 

Selection based on: Academic and Clinical Excellence,  Community and Professional , Involvement,  Effective Interpersonal Skills,  Leadership Ability, Commitment to Personal Achievement (Perseverance), Potential to Contribute to the PT Profession.
