About

APTA Colorado is a non-profit professional society with more than 2,000 members, including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and PT and PTA students. We are a component of the American Physical Therapy Association. APTA Colorado first met in Denver in 1937 and was incorporated on Feb. 17, 1953. 

APTA Colorado's mission is to provide leadership in:

  • the identification and interpretation of trends and issues; communication; coordinated action;
  • sharing of ideas and professional collegiality;
  • and in the development and improvement of physical therapy education, practice, and research.
