SE District Event - May 8: Considerations of the Pelvic Floor and Pelvic Viscera in Lumbopelvic / Hip Pain for the Outpatient and Orthopedic PT

Presenter: Kristina Koch, MSPT, WCS, CLT graduated from Springfield College in Springfield, MA, with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 1996. In 2001 she was introduced to the field of pelvic floor dysfunction and began pursuing education in this area of physical therapy. Since then, she has been treating men, women and children with various pelvic floor dysfunctions including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, and constipation. 

In 2013 Kristina became board certified in women’s health and pelvic floor dysfunction (WCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association. She is also certified in the treatment of lymphedema (CLT) and functional dry needling. Kristina has successfully established women’s health and pelvic floor PT programs at an out-patient clinic in California and here in Colorado Springs. 

Continuing Education: 1 Point of Category II for Continued Competency
